Belt Driven Pumps

Belt driven pumps use a belt and pulley system hookup for pump drive and operation. They are used with a belt-compatible power source to generate flow and pressure by pulling fluid through a plumbing system. Belt driven pumps use a belt and pulley system hookup with a power source for pump operation to generate flow and pressure by pulling fluid through a plumbing system. Belt drive pumps offer improved control in pump flow rate through changing the pulley settings. Belt driven pump models include both standard and PTO belt driven pump hookup options. Standard belt drive pumps are not restricted to a specific power source or location. This makes them versatile and flexible in installation and mounting for use where a power source is available. PTO belt (PTOC) pumps are available for either 540 RPM or 1000 RPM configurations. The belt driven pump model includes centrifugal and irrigation injection pump types. Belt driven pumps are often used with sprayers, tractors and gas engines for irrigation, transfer and crop spraying of fertilizers and pesticides. They are commonly used with boom sprayers and boomless nozzle systems in agriculture, farm and landscaping applications.

Available belt driven pumps are made by either ACE Pumps®, Hypro® or John Blue® brand manufacturers. Pump material choice options include cast iron, E-coated cast iron, polypropylene and 316 stainless steel. Pump seal options include Viton®, EPDM with silicon carbide seals available on request. Belt driven pump maximum flow rate ranges from 1.6 GPM up to 200 GPM capacities. Maximum pressure options range from 80 PSI up to 150 PSI. Suction and discharge size options for belt driven pumps range from 1" up to 2" NPT inlet with 3/4" up to 1-1/2" NPT outlet. Flange style inlet outlet ports are also available in 200 and 220 flange sizes.
